:: Gas leakages location

Huberg offers an efficient service of gas leakages location either with our vehicles, which have a built-in laser system, or on foot, using forefront instruments.
It is important to know origins and characteristics of leakages, in order to allow determing easier the leak-point during daily work and analyzing leakage signs on the surface in a safer way.

Some principal circumstances that origin gas leakages are (these are not all the possible circumstances):

Corrosion: passing (in damaged point) through the protective cover of pipes, corrosion can be caused by wrong placement, corrosive soil, flow, damage by other works ecc
Break: due to traffic vibrations, road works, building constructions, ice, changes of humidity in soil, underground collapses, ecc..
Not good locks in interconnection points, for example >T< socket, load accesses, network ends (dead point), location points of shutter bolt, drying-up phenomena on pressure joints and rubber joints, bad weldings and connections, ecc

PE pipes are actually the most used, because they offer advantages as an easier installations, less leak-points, less costs, ecc In case of researching on this material, attention has to be payed on weldings and networks accessorizes, especially particular junctions.
