:: CDP 75/125/165

The dehumidifiers type CDP 75/125/165 have been specifically developed for commercial swimming pools and spas.

Humid air from the swimming pool hall is drawn into the dehumidifier by its integral fan.

CDP 75/125/165When passing through the evaporator the air is cooled down to below dew point and water vapour is condensed into water, which is drained away. The now dry air is then passed over the condenser coil where the air is heated and returned to the pool hall. Having passed through the dehumidifier the air temperature is approximately 5°C higher than before. The CDP 75/125/165 dehumidifiers are for bigger swimming pools and can be installed in a plant room away from the pool hall.

This has the benefit of further reducing the noise output from the already near silent dehumidifier. Designed to be flexible a series of options are available including the ability to provide an extra warm air supply through a re-heating coil installed in the air outlet duct. 10-15% of fresh air can be provided to the pool hall by installing a fresh air duct connected to the unit. The installation of the dehumidifier in a plant room makes it possible to mount the air inlet and outlet for each application requirement. Air circulation in the pool hall is important for the dehumidification process. The dehumidified and warmer air can be extracted from the plant room through pipes under the floor and out by the windows in order to achieve optimal dehumidification.

The internal working components of the CDP units can easily be moved to fit into any plant room application. The control panel and other working parts can be changed to operate from different sides of the unit depending on door openings or the positions of walls. The discharge of air can operate from the top of the unit instead of operating from one of the side positions, where space is limited.

This is a well thought out philosophy, which means that the unit is suitable for any plant room installation, however small the area might be. Additionally, the CDP 75/125/165 unit can be supplied with an optional built-in water-cooled condenser allowing the surplus heat to be used for pool water heating. The unit is almost maintenance free, and simply requires filter cleaning from time to time by convenient opening of the inspection door. Further cleaning of the unit is easily achieved by removal of the front cover panel. All units are fully automated and microprocessor controlled. A display indicates the working mode and push buttons allow the dehumidification and optional re-heating coil to be turned on/off. The fan can be turned on for continuous ventilation.
